Last night was the last day of 2012 and also the last Raw show of
2012,and during 3 hour event many amazing things happened. So without
anymore further delay lets review through what happened in the show.
The Miz & John Cena vs Team Rhodes Scholars
The last show of 2012 kicked of with Miz TV with guest star John Cena.During the segment Miz had reminded John about all the things that have happened, particularly Cena being involved in the AJ scandal(cough AJ is crazy cough). After a few words were exchanged Team Rhodes Scholars arrived and questioned both The Miz and John Cena be fore John challenged the duo to a match,in which the match was one buy The Miz and John Cena.
Antonio Cesaro vs Sgt. Slaughter
Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero allowed all of the current title holders a "Champions Choice Night"in which every championship would be on-the-line,the first one being Antonio Cesaro's U.S Championship.Cesaro would later choose Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter.Cesaro in some way choose a legend so that he would be able to face The Great Khali on this week's WWE Main Event. The match would mostly point to Cesaro after he had picked up the easy but big win,but after the win Antonio would do another Neutralizer in which was looked as "insulting the pride of a good American".
Team Hell No vs 3MB(Heath Slater and Drew Mclntyre)
After Vickie had put Ryback in a match against The Shield,Kane and Daniel Bryan had no other option but to choose 3MB.The match was pretty good, with both teams doing an amazing job at each other before Kane hit Chokeslam on leader Heath Slater with Daniel Bryan landing on Slater to sucure the win.
Mr.Mcmahon pushes CM Punk to still compete next week
A week before the first Raw of 2013 where CM Punk would face Ryback for the WWE Championship in a TLC match,Punk and Paul Heyman had brought Punk's doctor to prove to the WWE Universe that he's injuries were real. After Punk's doctor had shown injury Punk had suffered the doctor later revealed that he would not allow Punk to compete after the doctor had reviewed the photo again.
After a few words were exchanged between the three men Mr.Mcmahon had come out to announce that next week WWE officials would look into Punk's leg would allow Punk to compete if he was able to,but if Punk couldn't compete then Paul Heyman would go on to take Punk's place in a 1 on 1 match against Ryback, with Punk last seen smashing he's mic in anger while Heyman's face would show him hoping that Punk would face Ryback next week.
Dolph Ziggler vs Sheamus with The Shield attacking Sheamus
Vickie made another announcement earlier with Dolph Ziggler having to go up against Sheamus.Throughout the match it had went back and forward before Sheamus had threw Ziggler over the top rope with Big E Langston catching him in mid air.
Sheamus then taunt Langston into fighting him before The shield came out and attacked Sheamus, after which they would land the usual triple powerbomb on Sheamus.
Eve Torres vs Mae Young for the Divas Championship
Eve's choice for who should face her for the Divas Championship was WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young. But,Mae would later found out she was pregnant and could not wrestle,in which the match was won by Eve after forfeit.
Kaitlyn had later came out just as Eve was about to do a celebratory photo shoot, after which a brawl had broke out between the two Divas.
Big Show vs Ricardo Rodriguez for World Heavyweight Championship
During Vickie's New Year's Eve party,Big Show had chosen Del Rio's personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez as he's opponent for the World Heavyweight Championship. Before the match,Del Rio would give Ricardo some motivation by telling him that he should have treated Ricardo with a bit more respect, accompany him to the ring, allow him to use he's scarf and gave him the keys to he's Mercedes AMG.
In the match,Big Show mostly had control of the match before Del Rio distracted him long enough for Ricardo builded some momentum. After a few hits Big Show finally got the control of the match back and just as he was about to hit the KO bunch on Ricardo,Del Rio would come in and save he's friend.
Wade Barrett vs Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship
This was the only match that had a title change hands, with Wade Barrett beating Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship. Both men kept fighting each other off till the with The Wildcat had landed the S.O.S but fail to win.Wade Barrett also hit he's original finishing move Wasteland but also fail to win the title before hit he's Bullhammer elbow to become a 2-time Intercontinental Champion.
The Shield vs Ryback
Before the match had even started,The Shield had already began their assault on Ryback. The man with the appetite could not hold off the 3 men and was completely out numbered before Sheamus came back to get some revenge on The Shield for their earlier assault, but still was no match to hold off all three of them.
And after a brief assault from The Shield to Sheamus and Ryback,Randy Orton returned and got some payback on themto even the numbers. After Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns had gone out of the ring,Dean Ambrose had still wanted to fight before being getting a RKO by The Viper.
John Cena crashes Dolph and AJ's New Year's toast
The last segment featured Dolph Ziggler and AJ announcing their toast for 2013,but before their toast Dolph personally uninvited Cena to the toast and telling Langston to stand guard. After their toast,John had come out to tell everybody that he did not care that he had one rough season and that he wanted to start the New Year the right way by entering this year's Royal Rumble.John would later dump piles of sh*t all over the two, thus ending the show and the year.
Overall Review
It wasn't as bad as I first thought, and was to bad of a way to end 2012.The best thing is that Cena had ended the year by dumping sh*t all over he's enemies.I also liked has WWE didn't want Wade to win the Intercontinental Championship at TLC but at the last Raw of 2012,and also with the appearances of WWE legends was also a good sight to see.And now WWE has already prepared a few new feuds which will carry on to 2013.
We will also be looking forward to next week's and the first Raw of 2013,with The Rock finally returning and with Ryback going to get he's hands on either CM Punk or Paul Heyman.
I'm gonna be a bit nice as this was the final episode of Raw so I'll give it a 10/10!
